Clicker games involve repeatedly clicking or tapping things to generate resources and progress. Often idle-based, they reward automation and exponential growth. Themes include business simulations, dungeon management, or resource harvesting or silly themes, with upgrades and prestige systems.

One of the most famous clicker games is Cookie Clicker, where you (guess what?) click a cookie. That’s it. Nothing more.
