QuartetCreated by the well-known Flash game developers Gimme 5 Games, Quartet is a Flash game where you must assemble faces by fitting together matching pieces that appear in the middle area of the playfield. Each piece consists of one of four quarters of a face. You “move” the piece that appears in the middle by either clicking/tapping one of the 4 squares or using the cursor keys to place the piece into those squares (up, down, left or right).
The placed pieces must not occupy a section that is already occupied, otherwise you receive a penalty. Fill in all four quarters of one square area and it completes a “Face” for points and clears that area. Complete all four face sections with the same color and you get a “Full Face”, which is worth more points.
You can also gain extra lives by clearing “the whole board”, but I have yet to succeed in doing that!
