Xiao Xiao

“Ready? Steady? Go!”

That’s the start of this absolute classic Flash animation. This was virally distributed by email attachments and messenger apps back in the days before social media.

It clocks in at 1 minute and 15 seconds of a action-packed martial arts combat IN STICK-MAN FORM! And as simple as that sounds, you can see inspirations from various popular kung fu movies and even The Matrix. (Is this the first Flash stick-man production in the long history of stickman Flash games?)

For some reason, instead of smooth vector format, this particular version is frame by frame jpeg bitmaps, so the quality has suffered. (Was this the original?)
